Mahindra is relaunching its most popular electric SUV, the BE 6 Batman Edition. You may recall that when it was first launched last year, all stock was sold out in just 135 seconds.

Given the overwhelming demand and fan enthusiasm on social media, Mahindra has announced the reopening of bookings. However, this opportunity will be available for one day only. Mahindra has officially confirmed that bookings for the BE 6 Batman Edition will reopen on March 10, 2026. This booking window will be open for one day only. According to the company, deliveries of this new batch will begin on April 10, 2026.

Like last time, very few units are expected to be available, so if you want to buy one, you’ll need to book quickly. When it was first launched in August 2025 at a starting price of ₹27.79 lakh, demand was so high that the company had to produce 999 units instead of 300, yet hundreds of people still missed out.

Dark Knight Reflects in the Design

The design of this special edition is deeply inspired by Christopher Nolan’s iconic film “The Dark Knight Trilogy.” Premium satin black paint is used throughout the vehicle, giving it a stealthy and aggressive look. The SUV’s body features Batman’s signature decals and gloss-black body cladding.

To enhance the look, Mahindra has painted the suspension springs and brake calipers in a bright gold color, creating a striking contrast with the black body. ‘Bat’ logos are also featured throughout the vehicle and on the wheels, highlighting its distinctive identity from a distance.

Gotham City Inside the Cabin

As soon as you step inside this SUV, you’re transported to a different, mysterious world. The cabin is completely dark-themed, with a unique blend of charcoal leather and brushed gold accents. A special number plate is placed on the dashboard, indicating this is a limited-edition model.

The digital cluster and panoramic sunroof feature a large Batman logo, which looks stunning at night. Upon starting the vehicle, you’ll hear a special Batman-themed startup sound. The seats are a premium blend of suede and leather, with golden stitching and the Dark Knight Trilogy’s logo embossed prominently.

Powerful Battery and Range

The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is a true superhero, not only in looks but also in performance. It’s based on the company’s highest-spec ‘Pack 3’ variant. It features a large and powerful 79 kWh battery, which claims to deliver a driving range of 682 kilometers on a single charge. The rear-mounted electric motor produces a whopping 286 hp and a massive 380 Nm of torque.
