XL-Size Road Presence
Hyundai Palisade is literally an XL-size SUV and its presence on the road shows any car as small. Compared to Fortuner, Palisade is an SUV with 185mm long, 120mm wide and 155mm high wheelbase. This clearly shows that Palisade seems to be not just long but quite commanding.
Its front gets a massive grille, vertically placed LED DRLs, sharp LED Headlamps, and muscular bonnet which gives it a fairly aggressive look like no mafia boss is coming out on the road.

Bold Rear Look
Side profile is quite narmal but the length of the SUV itself makes its presence felt. Palisade in Global model comes with 21-inch alloys, but Indian version is more likely to have 19-inch wheels.
The same is its Rear profile boxy, large LED tail-lamps and the most special —2 cameras! One is the reverse camera, and the other for IRVM, which gives you a rear view crystal clear, just like the digital IRVM that you see in Harrier.ev.

The biggest advantage of Palisade’s long dimensions is the massive interior space! The view out of every seat is fantastic and both second and third row are quite usable.

Engine
If the engine is talked about, it gets 2 engine options. 2.5L Turbo Petrol (277 bhp / 422 Nm) and 2.5L Hybrid Turbo Petrol (329 bhp / 461 Nm). Both engines come with 8-speed Automatic Transmission. Hybrid variant also gives better mileage and seems quite responsive even on sudden acceleration.

Launch & Price
Talking about India launch, Hyundai has confirmed that Palisade will come to India in 2028. It can also get a facelift before launch which will include more modern features. Its largest shocker is its pricing. Its Expected On-Road Price is ₹50 lakh – ₹60 lakh. If this happens then it will be extremely difficult for Fortuner to maintain its dominance in the market.
