This month, the Renault Duster, a favorite among middle-class families, is making a grand comeback, while Mercedes-Benz and Audi are ready to launch powerful vehicles in the luxury segment. Whether you’re looking for an affordable family SUV or a premium electric vehicle (EV) enthusiast, this month offers powerful options for customers in every segment.

Renault Duster 2026

The Renault Duster, once a reigning champion on Indian roads, is set to debut in a new avatar on March 17th. After being discontinued in 2022, the new Duster will be more powerful and packed with high-tech features. It will be offered with two primary turbo-petrol engine options: a 1.0-liter engine producing 100 hp and a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine producing a massive 163 hp.
Both engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox, while the more powerful 1.3-liter variant will also have the option of a 6-speed DCT. A 1.8-liter hybrid variant is also expected to arrive by Diwali 2026, delivering a combined power of 160 hp and excellent mileage.

Toyota Ebella

Toyota is set to reveal prices for its first mass-market electric SUV, the Urban Cruiser Ebella, this March. It is based on Maruti’s e-Vitara but will feature Toyota’s trusted tagline and design. It comes with two battery pack options. The first is a 49 kWh pack that delivers 144 hp and an ARAI range of 440 km. The second is a larger 61 kWh battery pack that delivers 174 hp and an impressive range of 543 km. It could prove to be a game-changer in the mid-size electric SUV segment.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class

To strengthen its foothold in the luxury MPV segment, Mercedes-Benz is relaunching its V-Class on March 2nd. This car is for VIPs who want a ‘first-class’ travel experience. It is available in 6-seater and 8-seater configurations in global markets, though the exact configuration for India will be announced at the launch tomorrow. Upon its launch in India, it will compete directly with premium vehicles like the Toyota Vellfire and Lexus LM. This updated version will feature more high-tech features and a more comfortable cabin than before.

Audi SQ8

March 17th will be a day of excitement for Audi lovers as the Audi SQ8 is set to be launched on this day. It is a perfect balance between the standard Q8 and the extreme RS Q8, and will drive speed enthusiasts crazy. It features a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 507 hp and 770 Nm of torque. With an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive technology, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift

Skoda’s most popular SUV, the Kushaq, is also receiving a facelift this March. The company has made its cabin more luxurious and added several new features. Premium features like a panoramic sunroof and a ‘massaging’ function in the rear seats make it class-leading for long journeys. Mechanically, the 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine will now be paired with an 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox, while the 1.5-liter turbo engine will continue to deliver impressive performance with its previous 7-speed DCT.
