Will get a new and attractive design

The new Kia Carens EV has been seen many times during testing. Some changes can be seen in its design as compared to the petrol model. To create a different identity from the existing petrol Carens, newness can be seen in the new grille, bonnet, bumper, and wheels. Along with this, the EV logo will also be seen on different parts of the car. This time its design will be prepared especially keeping the family in mind and space is also expected to be very good in it.

Strong range of up to 500 km

No official information has been received about the battery and range of the new Carens EV, but according to sources, a bigger battery pack can be found in it. It is expected that the single-motor Carens EV can get powerful features like Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), Anti-Lock Braking System, and Seat Belt. It is believed that Kia can launch its new Carens EV in India this year and its possible price can be around ₹ 20 lakh.

This will give tough competition to Maruti Ertiga and XL6

After launch, the new Carens EV will compete directly with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, which has a starting price of ₹ 8.84 lakh and is a 7-seater vehicle. Apart from this, it will also compete with Maruti Suzuki XL6. It is worth noting that apart from Carens EV, the company will also launch it in petrol and diesel engine options so that customers will have the opportunity to choose the option as per their preference.
