2026 Mercedes GLA

MMA Platform
The new Mercedes GLA is being produced on the same MMA (Mercedes Modular Architecture) on which the new CLA EV is built. This makes it more special because it supports both platform EVs and hybrids.
The biggest thing comes with the platform 800-volt EV architecture, which gives many advantages like fast charging, better efficiency and longer battery life. It is estimated that more than 700km of range can be seen in the new GLA.
Dual-motor setup means that all-wheel-drive performance will also be found in the SUV. This would improve both acceleration and stability, which the performance lovers would quite like.

Mercedes is going to replace its petrol GLA and all-electric EQA lineup with this new model. That is, the entire GLA family is now about to shift to electric and hybrid powertrains.
