New-Gen Renault Duster
The new Duster is built on Renault-Nissan’s CMF-B platform, which is completely different and more advanced than the current models. This new platform will be localized in India, which is expected to keep pricing competitive. The company is scheduled to make the SUV’s official Indian debut on January 26, 2026, and a 7-seater version will be introduced later.

It has also become clear that the new Duster’s design and mechanical setup will be completely different from the previous generation. It will be manufactured at the brand’s Oragadam plant, which is part of a larger restart plan for Renault’s India strategy.
Renault’s International Game Plan 2027 also focuses on emerging countries, in which the new Duster plays a key role. Following this, the company will also introduce a budget urban EV and a three-row SUV for India. This means Renault is moving towards reinvigorating its SUV portfolio in India.
Cabin and Features
This time around, the interior of the new Renault Duster is set to be even more modern, tech-loaded, and premium. Here are some of the key features the SUV will offer:

- Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
- 7-inch digital driver display
- High-mounted center console
- Electronic gear selector
- Y-shaped dashboard and door trims
Also, the list of features will include wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, Type-C fast charging ports, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 360-degree camera setup.

Renault is making no compromises when it comes to safety. Safety features on the new Duster include: ADAS features have become increasingly important in today’s competitive market, and Renault is preparing to establish them strongly in its segment.

Renault hasn’t officially announced engine options yet, but reports suggest the new Duster will be launched with two petrol engines. Both manual and automatic transmissions will be available, and a hybrid variant may also be introduced in the future. Renault is also looking to take its driving performance to a new level this time around.
