Indian star cricketer Smriti Mandhana’s father Srinivas Mandhana has been discharged from the hospital after his health improved. It is known that preparations were going on at home for the marriage of Smriti and musician-filmmaker Palash Muchhal. Both were supposed to get married on Sunday, 23 November, but on the same day in the morning, Srinivas’s health suddenly deteriorated. He was suddenly admitted to a hospital in Sangli.

Current updates on Smriti Mandhana father’s health

After this, Smriti’s marriage was postponed indefinitely. Smriti’s manager Tuhin Mishra said that Smriti’s intention is clear. She first wants to see her father well and then wants to get married. According to media claims, Srinivas’s condition is now completely stable and he is out of danger. Doctors also performed an angiography to evaluate him, which revealed no blockages.

This has brought great relief to the Mandhana family. Smriti and Palash’s wedding was postponed indefinitely following a medical emergency at home. Neither family has yet provided any updates on the new wedding date. What caused the health emergency?

Smriti’s manager, Tuhin Mishra, confirmed that Srinivas’s health suddenly deteriorated. He explained that Smriti’s father was having breakfast when his health suddenly deteriorated. “We waited a little while, thinking he would get better. But when his condition worsened, we called an ambulance and took him to the hospital, where he remained under observation.” He also explained that Smriti is very close to her father and immediately decided to postpone the wedding until he fully recovered.

Following Smriti’s father, her groom-to-be, Palash Muchhal, was also admitted to a Mumbai hospital shortly afterward. He suffered from severe acidity due to a viral infection and stress. However, he was discharged soon after his condition improved significantly. Both families are prioritizing health and recovery, so a new wedding date has yet to be finalized.
