Upcoming Honda Cars: Honda is preparing to bring major changes in the Indian market in the coming years. The company has already clarified that 10 new Honda Models will be launched in India before 2030, of which 7 will be SUVs. Petrol, Hybrid and Electric. Honda’s new lineup is coming with all kinds of powertrains, making this brand a stronger grip in times to come.

Interestingly, Honda is also planning to bring some of its global models such as Prelude Coupe SUV and 0 Series SUV directly to India as CBU. In the midst of this entire change, Honda’s upcoming lineup is going to be quite large and advanced. CBU Models

Honda India plans to launch some models directly as CBU (Completely Built-Up Unit). These will include CR-V Hybrid, ZR-V Hybrid, Prelude Coupe SUV and 0 Series SUV. Honda has also shown ZR-V Hybrid to its dealers, while media in Japan have a chance to drive Prelude’s test. Honda has officially confirmed that the 0 Series SUV will launch in India before 2027, becoming the hub of the company’s high-tech electric lineup.

Honda Elevate Hybrid

Honda will launch its popular Elevate SUV in Hybrid Version 2026. The same 1.5L Atkinson Cycle Engine will be given in this model, which is found in City e: HEV, but will be localized according to the Indian market to keep the price more competitive.

Honda has also recently revealed its new Hybrid Lightweight Platform, based on which several new SUVs and sedans will be developed. One of these is the upcoming 7-Seater SUV, which will challenge the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar and Tata Safari. It will feature modern engines such as 1.5L NA petrol and 1.5L Strong Hybrid.

Next-Gen Honda City

Honda is scheduled to launch the next generation of its most popular sedan Honda City in 2028. The new City will be based on a new medium-sized hybrid platform, and its design will be heavily inspired by Honda’s Futuristic 0 Series Sedan Concept.

The model is expected to follow Honda’s new design family, making it look smarter and more modern than before.
