Jeevan Pramaan
Every year, pensioners need to submit a “life certificate” to confirm they are still alive. In the past, this meant a trip to the bank or pension office. Now, with the UMANG app, pensioners can generate a digital life certificate right from their phones. Just tap on “Generate Life Certificate” in the app, fill in the required details, and you’re all set.
EPFO
The UMANG app provides a range of EPFO services, including checking your PF balance, activating your UAN, viewing your passbook, filing claims, and downloading scheme certificates. You can find any service by searching for “EPFO” in the app, and there’s even an option to file a complaint.
Making or updating a PAN card
Users can apply for a new PAN card or update an existing one through the UMANG app. They can also complete their Aadhaar e-KYC process and submit their application in the ‘My PAN’ section.
