Ayushman Bal Sambal: The Rajasthan government has rolled out the Chief Minister’s Ayushman Bal Sambal Yojana aimed at kids aged 0-18 who are dealing with rare diseases. Through this initiative, these kids get financial help of ₹5,000, plus free treatment that can go up to ₹50 lakh. The program covers assistance for 56 different rare diseases affecting children in this age group.

In January 2025, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma introduced the Ayushman Bal Sambal Yojana. The goal of this scheme is to ensure financial support and proper medical care for children up to 18 years old who are battling serious and rare illnesses. This initiative has been a major source of relief and assistance for those kids facing rare diseases.

Who benefits from this?

To qualify, the child must be under 18 years old and either a resident of Rajasthan or have lived in the state for at least three years. The application can be submitted online using the Aadhaar number at an e-Mitra center or via your own SSO ID.
