Rajshree Yojana: The government runs several schemes to provide financial support to families from the birth of a daughter to her education. One such scheme is the Rajasthan government’s Chief Minister Rajshree Yojana. Under this scheme, a total of Rs 50,000 is provided from the birth of a daughter until she completes 12th grade.
The Chief Minister’s Rajshree Yojana was launched in Rajasthan because many areas previously faced problems such as gender imbalance and female foeticide. Rajasthan was no exception. The government’s goal is to encourage the birth of daughters, encourage them to continue their education, and foster a positive mindset in families.
