Jeevan Pramaan or Digital Life Certificate ( DLC) is an Aadhaar-based biometric certificate that proves that pensioners are alive. Previously, pensioners could submit their life certificates in person at a bank or post office . The government has simplified the process of submitting life certificates by introducing the Jeevan Pramaan system. Now, pensioners can submit their certificates online through face authentication without visiting a bank or post office.
Why is it necessary to submit life certificate?
Pensioners are required to submit this certificate every year in November to ensure their pension continues. Pensioners who fail to complete this process on time face a suspension of their pension until the certificate is submitted.

Central Government Under Secretary Subhash Chandra will be present at the camp organized in Palampur.
