Easy Ways to Submit a Life Certificate

The process of submitting a life certificate has now become much easier, providing convenience to pensioners. You have both online and offline methods available:

Offline Process

If you wish to submit the certificate offline, you will need to visit your bank with the following documents:

Aadhaar Card

Pension ID

Bank Passbook

A Photograph

You can also submit your certificate digitally. To do this, you will need to use the ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ app or the ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ portal:

The government has provided a special facility for pensioners who are over 80 years of age or have disabilities. For such senior citizens, banks and post offices offer the facility to submit life certificates from home. Under this scheme, bank and post office employees visit their homes and collect the certificates.
