PM Kisan Nidhi 21st installment: Big news for farmers. The 21st installment under the central government’s flagship scheme, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi), may be released soon. The previous 20th installment was released in August 2025. Accordingly, the government may transfer the 21st installment to farmers’ accounts in November 2025. Although an official date has not yet been announced, it is expected that the money will reach farmers’ bank accounts by mid-November.
₹2,000 will be deposited directly into their accounts
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, an installment of ₹2,000 is transferred to farmers’ accounts every four months through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Farmers do not need to visit a bank or any intermediary. The government transfers this amount directly to their bank accounts. So far, millions of farmers have benefited from this scheme, and their incomes have improved significantly.

Installments for these farmers may be delayed
If you are a beneficiary of the PM Kisan Yojana, it is important to ensure that you have completed all the necessary formalities. Farmers who have not yet completed their land verification may face a delay in their installment. Furthermore, those whose e-KYC is incomplete or not completed on time will not receive this installment. Farmers found ineligible for the scheme will have their applications rejected, and any wrongly received funds may be recovered.
Check Your Installment Status
Farmers can check their installment status online from home. To do this, visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in or download the PM Kisan mobile app. Select the ‘Know Your Status’ or ‘Beneficiary Status’ option. Then, enter your registration number. If you don’t remember your registration number, click ‘Know Your Registration Number’. After entering the captcha code, click ‘Get Data’. Your screen will display the full details of your installment, indicating whether the 21st installment has been released.

Prime Minister to interact with farmers
As usual, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to interact with farmers before releasing the installment. Typically, the Prime Minister distributes the amount and addresses the farmers through a special program. The 21st installment is expected to be released by mid-November, provided the beneficiary farmers have completed all the necessary procedures.
