Rajasthan Accident: News of tragic accidents is emerging from Rajasthan. An accident occurred in Jaipur on Monday afternoon, shaking the entire city. An out-of-control dumper truck wreaked havoc on Lohamandi Road in the Harmara police station area. Thirteen people were killed in this tragic accident, while 10 others were injured, six of whom are in critical condition. A video of the accident is rapidly going viral on social media. The video shows the trolley hitting a road divider, completely damaging it. Several vehicles are also visible, damaged. According to eyewitnesses, the dumper driver was drunk and brutally crushed anyone he encountered. According to reports, 19 people have died in this accident so far. It is being said that the death toll is likely to rise.
13 people died in the accident
Rajasthan Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar, while giving information about the accident, said that 13 people have died in the accident. Of the 10 injured, six are at SMS Hospital, two at CKS Hospital, and two at Kanwatia Hospital. The condition of the six people admitted to SMS is said to be very serious, while the others have minor injuries.

The driver was drunk
Surinder, a car driver, said, “The truck was coming from Loha Mandi. The truck was at full speed, the driver was completely drunk, and he brutally ran over everyone in the way. My car was parked, and I was inside.”

Compensation announced for the accident
Financial assistance of ₹10 lakh each has been announced for the families of the 15 people killed in the road accident in Jodhpur’s Matoda area. Each deceased’s family will receive a compensation of ₹10 lakh, in addition to ₹2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. If three or more people die in a family, the maximum compensation will be 2.5 million rupees. The injured will receive 200,000 rupees from the state government and 100,000 rupees from the district administration.
