Vande Bharat Sleeper Train- Good news for train passengers. Vande Bharat sleeper train is going to start in the country before Diwali and its direct link is going to be connected to Rajasthan as well. The route of this new sleeper Vande Bharat proposed from Delhi to Ahmedabad can pass through Jaipur.
If this happens, Rajasthan will get the gift of the seventh Vande Bharat train. This will not only make the journey between Delhi and Ahmedabad easy, but will also provide great convenience to the passengers of the state including Jaipur.
At present, four Vande Bharat trains are operating from Rajasthan. Apart from this, the railways have recently proposed to run two new Vande Bharat trains from Jodhpur and Bikaner. As soon as the sleeper Vande Bharat train starts operating on the Delhi-Ahmedabad route, Rajasthan will have a total of seven Vande Bharat trains. This will be a historic achievement for the state’s rail network and passengers.
The first Vande Bharat sleeper will start from this month
According to railway sources, preparations are on to start the country’s first sleeper Vande Bharat from Delhi to Patna in the month of September itself. After this, service will be provided on Bhopal and Ahmedabad routes respectively. The final route of the Ahmedabad route has not been decided, but it is likely that the train will go via Jaipur.
This train will cover the distance of about 1000 km between Delhi-Ahmedabad in just 8 to 9 hours, whereas at present other trains take about 14 hours to cover the same distance.
