New Delhi: The monsoon has now completely withdrawn from Uttar Pradesh, and winter is about to begin, with temperatures gradually falling. Due to inclement weather over the past two to three days, temperatures have dropped after rain in many districts of the state. The weather has become so cold that the elderly and children have started using warm clothing in the morning and evening.

People who used to sleep on rooftops in the open have now brought down their cots. According to a report, temperatures are expected to drop further in the coming days, further increasing the cold. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, winter may begin on Thursday with temperatures dropping in Varanasi, Kanpur, Agra, Ayodhya, Jhansi, Prayagraj, and Pratapgarh. Clear weather is expected in Aligarh, Mathura, Gorakhpur, Mirzapur, Kaushambi, Rae Bareli, and Amethi.

Near-normal weather is expected in Kushinagar, Rampur, Bareilly, Basti, Mainpuri, Etawah, Azamgarh, and Ghazipur. Good weather is also expected in Chandauli, Sonbhadra, Jaunpur, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Kannauj, and Sambhal. Normal weather alerts have been issued for Badaun, Meerut, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, and Shamli.

How will the weather be in these metropolises?

The IMD predicts normal weather in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday. The maximum temperature here is expected to be around 32 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature around 22 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, a slight drop in the minimum temperature is expected in two days. Furthermore, clear skies are also expected in Noida today.

Additionally, a warning has been issued for a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 21 degrees Celsius in Noida. Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava, a meteorologist at Banaras Hindu University, stated that the return of the southwest monsoon could be seen in several districts of Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra in the next two to three days.
