New Delhi: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has a new working president. Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was formally appointed as the RJD’s working president in Patna on Saturday.
Upon assuming office, Tejashwi Yadav attacked the BJP and also pledged to make the RJD a national party. He appeared quite emotional while addressing party workers and leaders. Following the defeat in the assembly elections, Tejashwi Yadav acknowledged that the party was going through a difficult phase. He also instilled enthusiasm and passion among all party workers.
“We are being subjected to political infanticide,” said Tejashwi Yadav.
The new working president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Tejashwi Yadav, made a shocking statement while speaking about his political journey. He said that there have been continuous conspiracies against him. He said that even before he had grown a moustache, CBI and ED cases were filed against him. He added, “We are being subjected to political infanticide.
“My only fault was that in 2017, Nitish Kumar wanted to join hands with the BJP,” Tejashwi Yadav said. He further stated that those in power are trying to eliminate the opposition.
He added that even personal attacks are being made against him. He concluded by saying that he wants tofulfill Lalu Prasad Yadav’s dream and that making the RJD a national party will be their objective.
