Check and Pay Challan Instantly from Home — Full Procedure in Easy Steps

All the drivers on road have to maintain traffic rules. Violating any of the traffic rules can cause a fine or challan. Sometimes, drivers are unaware about the challan. For a long time, the challan system is operated in offline mode. Drivers have to go to the traffic office to check the status of a challan or have to wait until a printed copy arrive. Now, the process is shifting online, which will make the things easy for the drivers.

Check and Pay Challan online

Now the government has simplified this entire process. Through digital platforms and mobile apps, vehicle owners can access complete information about their challan from the comfort of their homes. This means you no longer need to visit an office; you simply need to follow a few steps online. If you want to know how many challans have been issued against your vehicle, the easiest way is through the e-Challan portal. You need to visit the website echallan.parivahan.gov.in . You’ll find the “Check Challan” option here. Now simply enter your vehicle’s registration number, enter the captcha code, and click Get Details. All invoices related to your vehicle will be displayed, including the amount, date, and reason.

Benefits of online challan

The e-Challan portal not only allows you to view your challan details but also makes online payments directly from there. After entering your vehicle number and viewing the details, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Entering this OTP will open a list of all challans.
