Design
This entry-level car from Renault is now going to come with a more attractive look. The new Kwid has been given Y-shaped LED DRLs, which will directly remind you of the upcoming third-generation Duster. Apart from this, Y-shaped tail-lamps will also be seen at the rear, along with the combination of new bumpers and pentagonal halogen headlamps giving it a fresh look.
Actually, the design of this facelift is largely inspired by the Dacia Spring EV, which was launched in Europe last year. That is why its side profile will also have a great combination of sharp fenders, bold wheel arches, stylish alloy wheels and sloping roofline.
Interior
Talking about the cabin, the new Kwid facelift has become more technologically advanced than ever before. It is expected to get a larger 10-inch infotainment display, which will upgrade the overall user experience. Apart from this, the new steering wheel design and digital instrument cluster also enhance the premium feel of the car.
Spy shots also make it clear that the interior layout largely matches the Dacia Spring EV. Not only this, Renault is also focusing on safety features this time. According to reports, up to 6 airbags can be offered as an option in the new Kwid.
Engine
Even though the world is rapidly moving towards EVs, the Kwid facelift will still be launched in India with an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) format. The exhaust pipe was clearly visible in its spy shots, confirming that the car will be based on a petrol engine for now.

Currently, the Kwid comes with a 1.0-litre petrol engine (68hp) with both manual and AMT gearbox options. It is currently priced between Rs 4.70 lakh and Rs 6.50 lakh. Hence, the price of the facelift model may increase slightly.
