Renault Kwid: This Diwali, Renault is set to revive excitement in the mass market hatchback segment. The new Renault Kwid 2025 facelift on its way boasts style, comfort, and technology enhancements for a penny-pincher’s price, thus proving an intelligent buy for city customers.

Renault Kwid 2025 Launch Update

Renault India already launched the new Kiger and Triber models in the market at a starting price of ₹6.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, the company is preparing to launch the facelifted Renault Kwid during Diwali season. Although the official launch date is not announced yet, the hatchback is likely to hit showrooms during the festival season.

Renault Kwid Journey in India

Originally launched in 2015, the Kwid picked up pace because of its SUV-styled looks and affordable pricing. With time, however, increased competition and fewer updates took their toll on sales. Renault has made incremental changes in the recent past, but this festive facelift may give the Kwid a newfound limelight in the affordable hatchback space.

Renault Kwid 2025 Features

The new model will feature some of the same updates as the Renault Kiger. It already features contemporary features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen that supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and voice recognition. The hatchback features a digital instrument display with tachometer, single-DIN audio system with USB, Aux, and Bluetooth, quick USB charger, power steering, rear power windows, and a rear parcel tray.

Renault Kwid 2025 Engine Options

The facelifted Kwid will continue to have its current 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which develops 54 bhp and 72 Nm of torque. The customers will be offered a choice of a 5-speed manual or AMT transmission.

The Kwid returns a fuel efficiency of 21.70 km/l with a manual transmission and 22.50 km/l with an AMT, as per ARAI. There will also be a CNG version, which will churn out 56 bhp and 82 Nm of torque, providing customers with more options regarding fuel economy and operating expenses.
