Lado Laxmi Yojana – The BJP government in Haryana has fulfilled one of its major election promises by providing social and economic strength to women. An important decision to implement “Din Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana” has been taken in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
Under this scheme, women will receive Rs 2,100 per month. In the first phase, Rs 2,100 will be provided to approximately 2 million women in the state between the ages of 23 and 60, whose monthly income is up to Rs 10,000. In the second and third phases, all women in the state will be covered by the “Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana.”
The state government has allocated approximately five thousand crore rupees in its annual budget for the implementation of this scheme. The BJP government has set September 25th as the date for the distribution of benefits under the “Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana.” This day marks the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, the pioneer of Antyodaya.
This day also marks the birthday of the late former Deputy Prime Minister and Chief Minister Devi Lal. Giving details of the sole agenda item discussed at the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that a notification for the “Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana” would be issued within the next week.
An app will soon be launched, allowing women to apply for the scheme’s benefits from home. It’s likely that all women who apply by September 25th will receive an amount of ₹2,100, depending on their eligibility. The Chief Minister said that the BJP government treats the manifesto like God and is fulfilling all the promises made in it. Opposition parties forget their manifestos after coming to power, whereas the BJP government has fulfilled every promise made to the public.
Referring to various Congress-ruled governments including Telangana and Himachal Pradesh, he said that before the elections, promises of economic benefits to women were made there too, but not a single promise has been fulfilled till date.
He said that there will be no shortage of funds to provide the benefits of the “Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana” to the women of Haryana. It should be noted that the Ladli Behna Yojana was launched in Madhya Pradesh when Shivraj Singh Chouhan was the Chief Minister.
Under the “Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana” of the Haryana Government, all married and unmarried women in the age group of 23 to 60 years will be eligible for the benefit. In the first phase, those families will be included whose annual income is up to Rs 1 lakh.
Then, families with incomes higher than this will be brought under the scheme’s ambit in a phased manner. The state government has prepared a complete action plan for implementing the scheme in a phased manner.
There will be no limit on the number of women in a family eligible for the “Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana.” If there are three women in a family, each will receive Rs. 2,100 per month. For eligibility, the unmarried woman herself or the husband of the married woman must be a native of Haryana for at least 15 years.
