PM Modi E-Auction: More than 1300 items gifted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be available for purchase by the general public through e-auction from Wednesday. This includes 1300 gifts including intricately embroidered Pashmina shawl from Jammu and Kashmir, Tanjore painting of Ram Darbar, metal statue of Nataraja, Rogan art from Gujarat (which depicts the tree of life), hand-woven Naga shawl.

Apart from this, sports souvenirs gifted by Indian para-athletes participating in Paris Paralympics 2024 are also included. All the money from the auction of gifts received by the Prime Minister will be given to the Namami Gange project.

Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Tuesday announced an online auction of over 1,300 gifts received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The items to be auctioned include paintings, artifacts, sculptures, idols of gods and goddesses and sports equipment,” he said.

The first auction was held in January 2019. Since then, thousands of unique gifts received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been auctioned, raising over Rs 50 crore for the Namami Gange project. Modi is the first Prime Minister to dedicate all his souvenirs to the Ganga-cleaning project.

This year’s edition will feature over 1,300 items, which will be available for bidding on the official portal www.pmmementos.gov.in from September 17 to October 2, 2025. The collection reflects India’s cultural diversity, ranging from traditional art, paintings, sculpture, handicrafts and tribal artifacts to ceremonial gifts of respect and honour.
