Chief Minister Mahila Rojgar Yojana has been approved in Bihar. Under this scheme, a woman from every family in the state will be given up to Rs 2 lakh to start her own business. As its first installment, Rs 10,000 will be given to the woman of every family.
CM Nitish Kumar shared the decision of the cabinet meeting on social media and said that many important steps are being taken to make women empowered and self-reliant. Women are contributing to the progress of Bihar with their hard work. Under this mission, a new scheme for women has been approved in the cabinet meeting. Under the Chief Minister Mahila Rojgar Yojana, one woman from every family will be given money to start employment of their choice.
How much money will you get in the first installment?
Under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, every woman from every family in Bihar will be given Rs 10,000 as the first installment to start employment. After this, an assessment of 6 months will be done by the administration and additional financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh can be given as per the need.
When will the money come in the account?
According to the information, the money for the first installment under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana will start coming from next month, September. This money will be sent directly to the Aadhar linked bank account of women.
How to apply?
Under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, women who want to start their own business will
soon be able to apply. The application process is going to start soon. The Rural Development Department will be responsible for arranging and implementing this scheme. However, the Urban Development and Housing Department will also help in this. Apart from employment, Haat Bazaars will also be developed for the sale of women’s products from villages to cities.
Eligibility
To avail the benefits of Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, it is necessary for the woman to be a citizen of Bihar. Apart from this, only one woman from a family can apply under this scheme. At the time of applying for the scheme, complete information has to be given about the employment you want to start. Money will not be given for those works which come in the banned list.
