Volvo has recently spotted its new electric SUV EX30 during testing on Indian roads. The company has also hinted at its arrival on social media. Its ex-showroom price can be around Rs 45 lakh which makes it an attractive option in the premium electric SUV segment.
The most interesting thing is that the EX30 offers a range of up to 474 km, which is perfect for city and highway driving. If Volvo assembles it locally in India, then its price can be even lower.
Design
Now talking about its design, the EX30 is built on Volvo’s Sustainable Experience Architecture platform which makes it efficient and modern. Its design is also inspired by its elder brother EX90 which includes sleek LED headlamps, ‘Thor’s Hammer’ DRLs and pixel-style tail lamps.
Interior
On the inside, the EX30 is equipped with a 12.3-inch vertical touchscreen with Google’s integrated system. It also uses recycled materials, making it attractive for environmentally conscious buyers.
