Tata Curvv EV vs Mahindra BE 6 EV : The Electric SUV is heading towards a rapid transformation in India; and very soon, two equally intriguing models-Tata Curvv EV and Mahindra BE 6 EV-would be unveiled along with this transformation. Styled boldly and futuristic, loaded with high-tech gadgets and performance promises, these cars are here to look forward to offering stylish, featureful, and green SUVs to buyers. But, among Tata’s Curvv EV and Mahindra’s BE 6 EV, which one deserves more brownie points? Let’s check.

The Tata Curvv EV has been built on Tata Gen-2 EV platform with an architecture that will be dedicated to electric vehicles, and it looks like a sporty coupe SUV. One would expect to find inside a large touchscreen, a digital driver display, all of today’s modern connected car features, and ADAS for safety. Tata is expected to pump an impressive range of around 450-500 km into the Curvv EV, enough to take it on long drives for work. Another big plus will be Tata’s extensive charging network complemented by good after-sales service, making it convenient and reassuring for buyers with regard to the Curvv.

In comparison, the Mahindra BE 6 EV belongs to the Born Electric group of Mahindra and carries the most futuristic design language. Bold and aggressive, it is fresh and modern with sharp LED lighting and an aerodynamic line. The interior will definitely be a tech-lover’s paradise with a number of digital displays, connectivity, and luxury feel. In case of BE 6, the expected range is 500-550 km, slightly better than that of Curvv, yet having the additional prospect of fast-charging. Safety is a primary concern for Mahindra too, boasting features like ADAS along with protection from high crash impact.

The two are both a little different from the Tata Curvv EV, which appears to be slightly more practical to most buyers looking for that fancy yet familiar SUV armed with proven EV technology by Tata. The price too will be slightly lower than most similar models, thus offering value for money. On the other hand, the Mahindra BE 6 EV appears more futuristic in its dynamics, with a stronger design statement, advanced interiors, and much higher range, all speculation huddled around a higher price.
