Railways launched SwarRail app
Indian Railways has launched its new app SwaRail. Currently, only Android users will be able to use this app. Through this app, passengers will get many services at one place. This includes facilities like ticket booking, PNR status, train tracking and food ordering. Through this app, users will be able to register any of their complaints very easily.
Not only this, apart from booking tickets, ordering food and checking train status, you will also be able to book shipments through this app. The benefit of this app is that users will no longer have to download different apps for different railway tasks. They will get all the facilities in one place in one app. Let us tell you that this app has been developed by the Center for Railway Information SIM (CRIS).
Will there be no need for IRCTC app?
Many people are thinking that after the arrival of the new Swarail app of the railways, the IRCTC app will be closed. So let us tell you that this is not the case. IRCTC’s app is mainly used for ticket booking and it will continue to be used in the future as well. However, through the Swarail app, you will also be able to avail those facilities of the railways which are not available to you on the IRCTC app. Let us tell you that at present the beta version of the Swarail app has been released.
