Tata Nexon CNG: Tata Motors has been testing its new CNG car for the last few months, which is said to be named Tata Nexon. The white colored top model was seen near a CNG filling station in Pune.
According to reports, Tata Motors may launch this CNG model by the end of this year and it is very similar to the ICE model of the compact SUV. Apart from this, the company launched Tata Nexon Facelift and Nexon EV Facelift last year.
what will be the design
If we talk about the design of the CNG model of Tata Nexon, then its front fascia will have LED indicators. It gets split headlamps and a new bumper, new alloy wheels and Y-pattern LED tail lamps at the rear. In this you will get to see twin cylinder technology which the company is offering in Punch, Altroz and other models. With its help, a larger boot space is seen in the car.
What features will you get?
The cabin of Tata Nexon CNG has features like new dashboard, new 2 spoke multifunctional steering wheel, 10.25 inch digital console, 10.25 inch touch screen infotainment system and sunroof. Most of its features are similar to the ICE model. But there will be a big difference in its power and torque. The ex-showroom price of Tata Nexon CNG can be around Rs 8.15 lakh.
Engine
In the CNG model of Tata Nexon, you will get a 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine, which generates 118bhp and 170Nm peak torque in the petrol model. Whereas in CNG mode it will have 100bhp and 150Nm output. This engine is paired with 6-speed manual transmission. But later it will also be paired with 6-speed automatic transmission.
