New Toyota Fortuner

Fortuner is Toyota’s best-selling SUV. It will soon release the next-gen update in the Indian market. Details of this new model have not been announced yet, but it is thought to be produced in the global market by the end of this year. It is expected to be launched in the Indian market in early 2025. The Tacoma truck, Lexus LX500d, and Land Cruiser 300 SUV are all based on this platform. The TNGA-F platform supports a wide variety of airframe and engine types. This way, both petrol/diesel and hybrid engines are supported.

New model Toyota Fortuner

Toyota launched a new version of the existing Fortuner using small hybrid technology. This model comes with a 2.8-liter diesel engine. It has a 48-volt set electric motor that produces 201bhp power and 500Nm torque. Thanks to the mild hybrid powertrain, power and 42 Nm torque output increased by 16 hp. The regenerative braking system improves the overall performance of the car.

Engine and details of the new Toyota Fortuner

The new Toyota Fortuner will be available with four-wheel drive (RWD) and 4×4 drive. The mild hybrid system is offered with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The car is equipped with a 2.8-liter diesel engine and has a mileage performance of 12.65 kilometers per liter in 4×4 setting. The small hybrid machine has a mileage of 13.15 km/gallon.

Features

Features such as Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Toyota Safety Package, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Collision Avoidance System, Road Sign Assist, Protective Driving Control and Automatic High Beam will be upgraded in the new Fortuner. In this case, the vehicle will have electronic assistance and stability control instead of power steering control distance and range.
