The 2024 Mercedes GLA has received some minor changes on the exterior and some important features added to the interior. Mercedes-Benz has also introduced a new Spectral Blue color scheme for the 2024 GLA. GLA was first introduced in 2010 and till now more than 14,000 units of this luxury brand have been sold.
Price and variants
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA will be sold in two trims – Progressive Line and AMG Line. The Progressive Line will be available with petrol as well as diesel engines, while the AMG Line will be sold only with diesel engines. The GLA 220d 4MATIC is priced at Rs 54.75 lakh, while the GLA 220d 4MATIC AMG Line is priced at Rs 56.90 lakh. Let us tell you that both these prices are ex-showroom and initial.
Engine capacity
Its petrol engine is a 1.3-litre unit, which produces 160 bhp of maximum power and 270 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 8.9 seconds and its claimed fuel efficiency is 17.4 kmpl.
Engine specifications
Next is the 2.0-litre diesel engine, which produces a maximum power output of 187 bhp and peak torque of 400 Nm. 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission has been used in it. With this engine, the 2024 GLA can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.5 seconds and has a claimed fuel efficiency of 18.9 kmpl.
Design and interior
Both variants now get a new set of LED headlamps and tail lamps. Additionally, there are new alloy wheels. The Progressive line has 18-inch units, while the AMG line has 19-inch units.
Features
The infotainment system has been updated and now runs MBUX, gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a digital key. Mercedes-Benz has also added Keyless Go, hands-free tailgate, Active Park Assist, Adaptive High Beam Assist and a 360-degree camera. Talking about safety features, it has 7 airbags, active brake assist, run flat tyre, tire pressure monitoring system and other features.
