Updated internal
Maruti Suzuki is trying to streamline the cabin experience across all its vehicles. The dashboard layout of the Swift is quite similar to the Baleno. There is a new analog instrument cluster, but the MID has not been removed. Climate control has also been adopted in other new vehicles of Maruti. It now has a wireless charger, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a head-up display.
New engine
The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift gets a new 3-cylinder Z-series unit in place of the 4-cylinder K-series petrol engine. It produces maximum power of 80 bhp and peak torque of 112 Nm. You can choose it in 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox options. This engine will provide a mileage of around 25 kilometers per litre.
Standard Safety Features
The new Swift now comes with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts and rear parking sensors as standard. Apart from this, it also has a new wide-angle rear camera, security alarm system and high-speed alert.
Price and variants
The updated Swift has been introduced in five variants. These are LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi and ZXi+. Its price starts from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.65 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.
