Train Cancelled: Another shock for railway passengers. If you’re planning to take a train in the next few days, here’s what you need to know. The Railways are conducting construction and technical maintenance work that will affect train schedules from September 21st through October 4th. During this period, more than 350 trains will experience changes to their operations.
Some trains will be completely taken off the schedule, while others will run with partial cancellations. Additionally, several trains will be rerouted to different paths. If your train travels through the Danapur-Howrah railway section or uses the Rampur Dumra Junction, Tal Junction, and Rajendra Setu route, make sure to verify your train’s current status before you head to the station.
Trains affected due to construction work
The railway is carrying out this work to improve the rail tracks and related infrastructure. Therefore, temporary changes have been made to train operations to ensure passenger safety while also accommodating the construction work.
A total of 383 trains have been affected by this work.
Some trains have been cancelled completely.
The operation of many trains will be partially affected.
The scheduled routes of some important trains have been changed.
It has been informed that this work will continue from 21 September to 4 October.
