Different taste in food

Vegetable expert Dr. Lavnesh working at the Vegetable Excellence Center said that cherry tomatoes are smaller in size than other tomatoes. Cherry tomatoes are a storehouse of nutrients. It is red, yellow, orange, pink in color, which adds a new taste to the food. It is mostly used for taste. There is a lot of demand for it in weddings and metro cities. Due to this, farmers cultivating cherry tomatoes earn good profits by marketing it in big cities.

Suitable time for cultivation

Dr. Lavnesh told that if you have a good place, then you can earn a lot of profit by cultivating cherry tomatoes. He told that its saplings are planted in the months of September to October, because it is a vine plant. In the poly house, the plants are stocked by supporting them with ropes, which increases the quality and yield of the plants.

He further told that after 9 months i.e. till May June, these plants keep getting plucked. He told that there will be 2 beds in a line and the distance between the plants will be 30-40 centimeters.

About 10 thousand plants can be planted in one acre in a polyhouse. Each plant can give 2.5 to 3 kg of tomatoes. In this way, 250-300 quintals of cherry tomatoes can be produced in one acre. The price of cherry tomatoes in the market is Rs 150-200 per kg, which can prove to be very beneficial for you.
