Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed 11 fours in 120 balls to score a century in the Ranji Trophy match against Rajasthan, demonstrating his remarkable form. In four red-ball innings, Jaiswal has scored three fifties, including two centuries. His Ranji Trophy hundred against Rajasthan marked his 17th first-class century of his career.

Century under though conditions

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s century against Rajasthan came under very difficult circumstances. Rajasthan had taken a substantial lead of over 300 runs in the first innings. Mumbai needed a strong start in the second innings to avert the looming crisis. That start for Mumbai came from the pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mushir Khan . Together, the two batsmen added 149 runs for the opening wicket.

Musheer Khan was dismissed for 63 in the second innings, but Yashasvi Jaiswal held on and completed his century.
