The West Indies team is currently touring New Zealand, where a five-match T20 International series is underway between the two teams. The fifth and final match of the prestigious series is being played in Dunedin today (November 13, 2025). Kiwi fast bowler Jacob Duffy has taken world cricket by storm by taking three wickets in a single over.

Then, on the third ball of the same over, he also dismissed Akeem Auguste, clean bowling him. Duffy didn’t stop there. He also found success on the fifth ball of the over, forcing Sherfane Rutherford to retire to the dressing room without opening his account. Conway took a brilliant catch of Rutherford.

Speaking of Jacob Duffy’s performance in the final T20I, he bowled four overs for his team, conceding 35 runs at an economy rate of 8.75, taking four wickets. His dismissals included opposition captain Shai Hope (11), Akeem Auguste (08), Sherfane Rutherford (00), and Romario Shepherd (36). Jacob Duffy’s lethal bowling resulted in the entire West Indies team, batting first after losing the toss in Dunedin, being bundled out for 140 runs in 18.4 overs.
Roston Chase, batting at number four, was the highest scorer for the Caribbean team. He faced a total of 32 balls during the match and managed to score 38 runs at a strike rate of 118.75. Apart from Chase, Romario Shepherd, batting at number 8, made 36 off 22 balls, while Jason Holder, batting at number 7, contributed 20 off 19 balls. The other batsmen were constantly struggling for runs against the Kiwi bowlers.
