Team India defeated South Africa by 17 runs in a thrilling match in Ranchi. The victory in the Ranchi ODI brought back smiles on the faces of Team India players. First, the video of Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir’s conversation went viral on social media and now the video of Virat Kohli ignoring the victory celebrations is raising many questions.

Virat Kohli ignored match winning celebration?

The Indian team won the thrilling match played in Ranchi by 17 runs. Following the victory, the Indian players were celebrating at the hotel. Hotel staff were also present. Captain KL Rahul was cutting the cake. At that moment, Virat Kohli was seen passing by. Other Team India teammates and some fans called out to Kohli, but he did not join in the celebration. Kohli ignored them all. Previously, a video of a conversation between Rohit Sharma and Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir went viral on social media. This raises the question: is the atmosphere in the dressing room not conducive?

Let us tell you that Team India won the first match of the three-match ODI series being played between India and South Africa. Batting first, the Indian team scored 349 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs, thanks to a brilliant century from Virat Kohli and half-centuries from Rohit and Rahul. In response, South Africa lost half of its team at 130 runs. After this, Matthew Brietzke and Marco Jansen batted brilliantly and almost turned the match around.

After this, Kuldeep Yadav brought Team India back by sending both the batsmen to the pavilion one after the other. However, Corbin Bosch kept fighting with the Indian bowlers till the last over. Bosch returned to the pavilion after getting caught by Rohit Sharma on the second ball of the 50th over and Team India won.

Corbin Bosch played an inning of 67 runs with the help of 4 sixes and 5 fours in 51 balls, but South Africa was reduced to 332 runs in 49.2 overs and lost the match by 17 runs. In this match, Virat Kohli scored the 52nd century of his ODI career and was declared the Player of the Match.
