Ishan Kishan’s father, Pranav Pandey, was overjoyed after his return to Team India. He explained that while Ishan was away from Team India, he worked hard on his game and fitness, which is why he was able to make a comeback.

Although cricket is unpredictable, we hope that he will perform brilliantly in the World Cup and India will win the title.

Under his captaincy, Jharkhand defeated Haryana by 69 runs in the final of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Left-handed batsman Kishan was the tournament’s leading run-scorer, amassing 517 runs in 10 innings at an average of 57.44 and a strike rate of over 197. In the final, Kishan smashed a blistering 101 off 49 balls, taking his tally to five centuries in the tournament. He also equaled India’s T20I opener Abhishek Sharma’s record for most centuries in a single tournament.

T20 World Cup will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The tournament is scheduled to begin on February 7th, with the final scheduled for March 20th. Defending champions India have been placed in Group A, alongside the United States of America (USA), Namibia, the Netherlands, and Pakistan.
