A teenager from Rajasthan Royals Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is already winning hearts all across India. Just hours after smashing the Sunrisers Hyderabad attack to pieces by scoring a 29 ball, record-shattering 97 runs, a heart-touching video of the boy has been going viral all across social media.
Hours before the high-pressure encounter, the 15-year-old southpaw displayed amazing humility and deep respect by touching the feet of the legendary Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar seeking blessings from the latter.
Respecting the Legends of Indian Cricket
During the pre-match warm-ups on the ground, when former India skipper Sunil Gavaskar-who was acting as a commentator for the crucial playoffs fixture-was present near the boundary ropes. The 15-year-old Vaibhav immediately walked towards him and bent down to touch his feet after which he was gifted some great words of advice and a gentle pat on the back by the legend himself.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi rushed to touch the feet of Sunil Gavaskar and Sanjay Bangar, who were doing the pre-match show.

Smashing 12 massive sixes and 5 boundaries for fun, Vaibhav scored a remarkable 97 runs off 29 deliveries. He ended up breaking Chris Gayle’s long-standing record for the most sixes in a single IPL edition during his phenomenal knock and helped Rajasthan Royals score 243 in the fixture and knock out the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 47 runs.
