In the Under-19 World Cup, Team India registered a thrilling victory against Bangladesh on Saturday, January 17. With this, Team India has qualified for the next round of this Under-19 World Cup, i.e. Super-6. A total of 16 teams are participating in this tournament, out of which Team India has become the first team to qualify for Super-6.

The Under-19 World Cup is currently underway in the group stage. The 16 teams have been divided into four groups of four teams each. India holds the top spot in Group A, followed by England in Group B, Sri Lanka in Group C, and the West Indies in Group D. Among other teams, Pakistan is at the bottom of Group B. Scotland is second, and Zimbabwe is third.
In Group A, Team India leads the table with two consecutive wins and four points. New Zealand, yet to play a single match, is second in the points table. Bangladesh Under-19 team is third, and the USA is fourth. The Kiwis will play their first match against the USA on December 18th.
In Group B, England defeated Pakistan in the first match and currently tops the points table. Pakistan, meanwhile, is at the bottom of the table after losing its first match, once again proving to be a failure. Scotland is second in this group, while Zimbabwe is third. The first match between the two teams was abandoned due to rain.
In Group C, Sri Lanka easily defeated Japan and their team is at the top of the table. Australia is at the second position with one win. Sri Lanka is at the first position due to net run rate. Ireland is at the third position and Japan is at the fourth position. In Group D, West Indies secured the first position in the points table after defeating Tanzania. Afghanistan team is at the second position after defeating South Africa. South Africa team is at the third position after losing the match.
