He has received the green signal from the BCCI medical team. ‘Speed Merchant’ Mayank can soon join the LSG camp. However, the final decision about his return to the playing XI will be taken by the LSG coaching staff.
Mayank played only four matches in IPL 2024 but created fear among the batsmen with his pace. He can bowl at a speed of 150 kmph consistently. His fastest ball was recorded at 156.7 kmph. Despite playing fewer matches, LSG retained Mayank Yadav for ₹11 crore.

According to India Today, sources have confirmed that fast bowler Mayank Yadav has recovered from his injuries and is ready to join the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) camp. He is expected to rejoin the team on Tuesday, April 15.
Mayank got the green signal from the BCCI’s Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. Although he is fit to play, the final decision will depend on the LSG coaching staff, who will closely monitor him.
Mayank Out of Cricket Since October 2024
Let us tell you that Mayank has not played any match since October last year, when he suffered a back injury during a T20 game against Bangladesh. He was expected to return by the second week of April, but a toe injury caused a further delay.
