Alerts have been issued for Punjab (May 3–6) and for Haryana and Chandigarh (May 3–6), anticipating light to moderate rainfall across these regions during this period.

The Meteorological Department has stated that an alert has been issued for the Western Himalayan region, the plains of Northwest India, and adjoining Central India for the period of May 3–6, warning of thunderstorms, lightning, strong winds, and hailstorms. Rain Alert for Delhi
According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi may experience rainfall. On May 3, light to very light rain is likely, accompanied by thunder, lightning, and strong winds. Similar conditions are expected to persist on Monday (May 4). A ‘Yellow Alert’ has also been issued for the next two days in view of the possibility of rain and thunderstorms.

An alert has been issued for Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry due to the likelihood of heavy rainfall between May 3 and 8. Furthermore, stormy winds gusting up to 70 km/h are anticipated in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Telangana on May 3. Additionally, heavy rainfall is forecast for South Interior Karnataka between May 4 and 8.
