Virat Kohli Makes a Significant Revelation Regarding His Injury

Following the match against the Lucknow Super Giants, Virat Kohli made a major statement concerning the injury to his knee. Responding to a query, he stated, “It feels much better than it did during the previous match, though I am still not 100 per cent fit. There was swelling in my knee during the last game. In fact, from a general health perspective, I hadn’t been feeling well for the past four or five days.

“I am pleased with my fighting spirit. I should have stayed on to finish the match. Actually, on the batting-friendly wicket at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, the fast bowlers were finding some assistance. Scoring runs had become a difficult task.” Given this context, when Virat Kohli was asked about the pitch after the match, he remarked that there wasn’t much grass on the surface.

“It was slower than usual. Speaking of the last few days, the weather here has been quite hot. The pitch felt a bit different. I intend to try to take the game away from the opposition right within the Powerplay. I am happy with the way I played today.

Kohli Returns to the Pavilion on 49 Runs for the First Time

This marked the first time in his IPL career that Kohli returned to the pavilion having scored exactly 49 runs. He scored his 49 runs off 34 deliveries. In this match, Lucknow Super Giants scored 146 runs batting first. In reply, RCB chased down the target with 29 balls to spare.
