Cody Rhodes has won the 2023 and 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble matches. Last year at WrestleMania, he ended Roman Reigns’ historic 1,316-day title reign. Reports suggested Rhodes had signed a two-year contract with the company before WrestleMania XL. Rhodes has now stated in an interview with the All The Smoke podcast that he will retire soon.
Cody Rhodes said, “He’s more known in Cobb County as a coach than as the American Dream. It’s like he was there. I want to be able to avoid going out as much by the time he gets to that age. We’re getting closer and closer. I would say this will be my last contract with WWE. The next contract I sign will be my last, and I’ll end my days with WWE. This is the home that made me. The home that brought me back and put me in a great place.”
