Winter Special Recipe: In winter, everyone loves to eat a hot, delicious meal first thing in the morning.

If you also enjoy a tasty breakfast, then you should try Punjab’s famous Sarson ka Saag and Makki ki Roti. It has a wonderful, authentic flavour. You can easily make it at home. Let’s find out how:
How is Makke Ki Roti made?
Material
Corn flour – 2 cups
Salt – a pinch
Lukewarm water – as needed

Method
First, you need to mix the flour and salt together and knead it with lukewarm water to make a dough. Then, divide the dough into small balls and lightly roll them out with a rolling pin.
Next, heat a griddle pan on the stove and then cook the flatbread on both sides until golden brown. Then, spread some clarified butter (ghee) on it. Your corn flatbread is now ready.
Ingredients and method for making Sarson Ka Saag
Material
Mustard greens – 500 grams
Green chillies – 3-4
Spinach – 200 grams
Ginger – 1-inch piece
Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
Garlic – 5-6 cloves
Tomatoes – 2
Salt – to taste
Ghee – 2-3 tablespoons
Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon

Method
1- First, clean and chop the mustard greens and spinach. Then, add water, green chillies, a little salt, and ginger, and cook on low heat for 30-40 minutes. Once the greens have cooled, grind them coarsely in a blender.
2- Then, put the greens in a pan and cook them thoroughly until they thicken. Then, heat some ghee in a pan and sauté the garlic and onions until golden brown. After that, add the tomatoes and all the spices, and then add this mixture to the greens.
3- Then, add a little ghee on top and serve with corn flatbread.
