Amla Honey Chutney: During the winter months, our bodies need an immunity boost to protect against various illnesses.

Amla (Indian gooseberry) is readily available in the market during this time and is rich in vitamin C. In Ayurveda, it is known as Amritphal (the fruit of immortality). Amla is considered very beneficial for our health during winter. It is excellent for digestion. You can also make amla chutney during the winter; it’s effortless to prepare. Let’s learn the recipe for this chutney:

What ingredients are needed to make Amla Honey Chutney?
Amla (Indian gooseberries) – 6-7 (medium-sized)
Fresh coriander leaves – 1 cup, chopped
Honey – 2 tablespoons
Mint leaves – half a cup

Green chillies – 2
Ginger – 1-inch piece
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Cumin powder – half a teaspoon
Rock salt or black salt – to taste

How is Amla Honey Chutney made?
Step 1- First, wash the gooseberries thoroughly, then boil them in a pressure cooker until one whistle. Once they have cooled, remove the seeds and cut them into pieces.
Step 2 – Next, put the boiled gooseberries, ginger, mint leaves, and green chillies into a blender jar and blend them into a fine paste, adding a little water if needed.

Step 3 – Then, add honey, salt, lemon juice, and cumin powder to this mixture and blend it again in the mixer for a few seconds so that all the flavours are well mixed.
Step 4- Your amla chutney is now ready. Transfer it to a bowl, and you can now serve it with parathas, snacks, or salads.
Step 5- You can also store Amla Honey Chutney in the refrigerator for 5 to 6 days and use it chilled.
