What ingredients are required to make Methi Makki Saag?

Fresh fenugreek leaves – 2 cups (chopped)

Corn flour – 2 tablespoons

Ghee – 2 tablespoons

Medium onion – 1 (finely chopped)

Tomato – 1 (finely chopped)

Green chillies – 1-2, chopped

Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon

Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon

Coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon

Hot water – a little

Salt – to taste

How is Methi Makki Saag made?

Step 1- First of all, you have to heat ghee in a pan, then add onion in it and fry it till it becomes golden.

Step 2 – After that, add ginger and garlic paste and cook for 1 more minute.

Step 3- Now add the tomatoes and all the spices. Once the spices are cooked, add the chopped fenugreek and cook over low heat for 4-5 minutes.

Step 4- Now add 2 tablespoons of cornflour and mix it well. Then add some warm water.

Step 5 – Now cover it and cook for 5-7 minutes until the fenugreek becomes soft.

Step 6- Now pour ghee on top and then serve.
