What ingredients are required for the Bedmi Puri recipe?

Wheat flour – 1 cup

Semolina – 2 teaspoons

Salt – 1/2 teaspoon

Nigella seeds – 1/2 teaspoon

Kasuri methi – 1/2 teaspoon

Oil – for stuffing

Urad dal – 1/3 cup

Coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon

Fennel seeds

Black pepper

Cumin seeds

Cinnamon

Turmeric

Oil

Kashmiri chilli

Kasuri methi

Amchur – 1 teaspoon

Black salt

How is Bedmi Puri made?

Step 1 – First of all, take wheat flour, add two spoons of semolina, salt as per taste, celery, kasuri methi and a little ghee and knead it.

Step 2- Knead the dough until soft. Now, make the stuffing. To do this, roast the peeled urad dal in a pan. Add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, black pepper, fennel seeds, a small piece of cinnamon, and two cloves.

Step 3- After that, put it in a grinder jar and make its powder.

Step 4 – Now heat oil in a pan and add some spices, including asafoetida, turmeric powder, and red chilli. Then add the ground lentil powder, mix, and fry well.

Step 5 – Now mix one cup of water in it and keep frying it.

Step 6- Once it’s dry, add salt, dried fenugreek leaves, and mango powder to taste. Then, form dough balls, fill them, and fry them.

Step 7- Now your Bedmi Puri is ready; serve it hot with potato curry.
