What ingredients are required to make Oats Spinach Paratha?
Oats – 1 cup
Spinach – 1 1/2 cups packed (chopped or boiled)
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Chopped green chillies – 2
Garlic pods – 3
Chopped onion – half
Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds or powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Yoghurt – 3 teaspoons
Salt – to taste
Turmeric – a pinch
A little wheat flour – for sprinkling
3 teaspoons oil – for mixing into the dough
Oil or ghee – for making parathas
Water – for kneading the dough
How is Oats Spinach Paratha made?
Step 1- First of all, you have to take oats and then soak them in water and leave them for 10 minutes.
Step 2 – Now you need to boil the spinach in some water. Then, add green chillies, garlic, chilli powder, cumin seeds, yoghurt, and turmeric powder and make a paste.
Step 3 – Then you mix wheat flour with spinach puree in the soaked oats and knead the dough.
Step 4- Leave this dough to rest for 15 to 30 minutes. Then, roll it into a medium-sized roti.
Step 5- Now bake the roti on the pan from both sides.
Step 6 – Then apply some oil or ghee on the roti.
Step 7- Now take out this paratha from the pan and serve it with pickle and curd.
