IB Vacancy 2025: There is good news for the candidates waiting for government jobs. Once again, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has given a great opportunity to the youth. Now the department has announced recruitment for the posts of Security Assistant (Motor Transport). A total of 455 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment campaign. IB Vacancy 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification- Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognised board is mandatory; apart from this, the candidate must have a valid driving license of Light Motor Vehicle (LMV). General knowledge of motor mechanisms is also required.
IB Vacancy 2025: Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 27 years (as calculated till 28 September 2025)
However, SC/ST candidates will get 5 5-year relaxation in the maximum age, and OBC candidates will get 3 3-year relaxation.
IB Vacancy 2025: Application Fee
To apply for this recruitment, all candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 550. At the same time, apart from the fee of Rs 550, candidates of the male, general category, EWS and OBC categories will have to pay an additional examination fee of Rs 100.
IB Vacancy 2025: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for this recruitment through a two-stage examination, after which eligible candidates will be appointed in the Intelligence Bureau after completion of the selection process.
Tier-I Exam: There will be objective-type questions, which will include questions based on general knowledge, general studies and reasoning.
Tier-II Exam: Practical tests related to driving and motor mechanism.
