The Border Roads Organisation has announced BRO Recruitment 2025 officially for 542 posts in various trades, such as MSW and Vehicle Mechanic. Interested candidates can apply offline for recruitment into a defence-associated organization with a robust track record of infrastructure creation. The opportunity includes stable jobs and the possibility of working on major national projects.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- For Vehicle Mechanic – Matriculation or equivalent with a certificate in Motor Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic issued by a recognized institution.
- For MSW (Painter) – Matriculation or equivalent with an Industrial Training Certificate in Painting or allied trade.
- For MSW (DES) – Matriculation or equivalent with a trade certificate in Motor or Tractor Mechanics.
Age Limit:
- Vehicle Mechanic: 18 to 27 years
- MSW (Painter) and MSW (DES): 18 to 25 years
- Relaxation of age is granted as per government standards.
Application Process
Forms have to be submitted offline by the candidates via the BRO website (bro.gov.in). Forms can be filled in only English or Hindi. Passport-size photographs should be attached, and all the information must be correct. More than one application for a single post will not be accepted, and only the most recent one will be entertained. Applications must be submitted before 24 November 2025, whereas applications from areas far from office can be submitted up to 9 December 2025.
Selection Procedure
The BRO Recruitment 2025 selection process involves various steps. Applicants will undergo a written test, then a physical efficiency test and trade or practical test. Experience and medical fitness will also contribute to the final selection. Merit-based applicants will be appointed to respective positions.
Application Fee
The fee for application is Rs. 50 for General, OBC, and EWS categories. The fee is waived off for SC, ST, and PwD category candidates.
